Usain Bolt Will Play In UNICEF's Soccer Aid Game At Old Trafford!

Yesterday, Usain Bolt kept fans on their toes when he posted a video on Twitter saying he had signed to a football club. Although he promised to reveal the mystery club by 9 AM today, many people started speculating it must be Mamelodi Soundowns, the South African club he trained with a few weeks ago. You can’t blame them, considering the club made a Twitter post about Bolt being in football.
However, like he promised, Bolt revealed the football club this morning, and it’s not Mamelodi Sundowns. It’s not even a football club per se. It’s Soccer Aid World IX, a group of celebrities from around the world brought together by UNICEF to play a football tournament to support humanitarian causes.
We don’t blame Bolt for the suspense. The announcement is big on its own for two reasons: He’ll be the captain of the team and the match will happen at Old Trafford, the home ground of Bolt’s beloved Manchester United!

Bolt has expressed his intention to play for Man U many times. Although he hasn’t signed a contract with the club, he’ll now get the chance to test the turf of The Red Devils. And who knows? His dream of being a Man U player might just take off from there.
Bolt’s team will be playing against the ‘England’ team, which has English singer and actor, Robbie Williams as captain. Proceeds from the Soccer Aid Game will go to helping children in danger around the world.
