The 'Shaking the table' saying is a popular modern adage which is used when someone has said something to call out unacceptable behaviour. It became everyone's favourite thing to say after the iconic scene in Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, where K. Michelle sarcastically accused Karlie Redd of shaking the table and warned her not to shake unless she wants to get shook.
Just when we tought we heard it all, Nigerians then gave it a twist. They turned it into "this table you're shaking has blabla on it", and is mostly used to be shade other people like celebrities, tribes, believes etc.
