It's no secret that the representation of black people in TV and film is abysmal. Hollywood has been known to whitewash (cast white actors in roles based on historical people of colour), which is pretty frustrating considering the small number of well-known movies with people of colour as lead characters that currently exist. But Brazilian photographer, Raphael FS, who specialises in retouching, digital art, and advertising, decided to take matters into his own hands - by attempting to reimagine white characters as African/black characters with natural hair!
